Chantal Hackett is a dynamic singer and entertainer from Ottawa, Ontario. Like many great vocalists, Chantal found her voice singing in church as a child. By the age of 13, her passion and talent for singing was undeniable and led her to hundreds of performances over her 20+ year career.
Specializing in weddings, corporate events, and private parties, Chantal and her band are versatile, professional, and the perfect complement to any event. They have an extensive repertoire, with a focus on commercial pop and soul music, but can adapt to suit any mood, adding personal touches to make each event special.
Chantal has an impressive resume with many noteworthy performances. Some of these include singing at various City of Ottawa events, the Ottawa Board of Trade Gala, sporting events such as Ottawa Redblacks and Ottawa Fury games, TD Place, and for radio and television networks such as CBC, Radio-Canada, and CTV. She has performed at the United Nations and at Carnegie Hall in the De La Salle Choir. Chantal was also a soloist in a Motown band for 10 years and has been a background vocalist for Juno Nominated artist David Gogo, among others. Throughout her career she has performed at numerous major festivals, public and private events, and iconic Canadian venues.
As well as being an accomplished singer, Chantal is also an experienced public speaker and has emceed hundreds of events. She is an expert at facilitating a fun and unforgettable experience, no matter the event.
